Many professional music companies are very busy year-round and availability is not always guaranteed. In the case of weddings, people sometimes book live music over 1 year in advance! We have often had to turn people down due to a lack of availability.

Yes! BBL Music Co. is insured and can provide a COI (Certificate of Insurance) upon request. Venues may also request to be listed as an additional insured if necessary.

Yes! We do perform for outdoor events.

In the case of inclement weather (rain, snow, sleet, etc.), we require overhead coverage in order to protect instruments and equipment. Additionally, we will not perform outside in extreme hot or cold temperatures. Such extreme temperatures will not only degrade the sound quality of the performance, but can also damage our expensive string instruments. In such cases, we are more than happy to move to an inside location in order to provide music at your event.

To this day, we have never had to enact this policy and refuse to perform outside for an event.

Yes - We require power.

No - It does not need to be available or provided by the venue.

We provide and use our own Jackery solar generator to power our amplified outdoor performances. We have used this to give amplified performances in wooded areas, state parks, and more. We are able to power our equipment for over 5 hours straight.

For solo violinist performances for weddings or other special events, we oftentimes perform using tracks (pre-recorded music). Many songs performed alone by a solo instrumentalist "just don't sound right," so we play with tracks in order to elevate the performance and maintain the integrity of the song.

Tracks are used when it is appropriate and are almost never used for ensemble performances or religious services.
