Brendan Bordick-Lesavage is a violinist from Old Forge, Pennsylvania. His primary teachers have been Fritz Valenches and Peter Isaacson. Brendan can be regularly heard performing for church services, weddings, and many other events throughout the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Region.
Brendan currently serves as the Principal Second Violinist of the Kutztown University Orchestra and has previously performed as Concertmaster of the Sinfonia Youth Orchestra. He’s been performing with the St. Ann’s Basilica Choir since he was 15 and regularly organizes concerts featuring new, original music. Brendan has also enjoyed playing in the pit for musicals and with the Irish Folk Band, Em & The Blarney Boys. He is also a member of the American String Teachers Association (ASTA).
Currently, Brendan is a senior undergraduate student at the Kutztown University of Pennsylvania where he is pursuing a BA in Music. At Kuztown, Brendan studies the violin and viola under Dr. Peter Isaacson and participates in chamber music and jazz studies with NYC musicians. Outside of school, he studies D.C. Dounis’ method of violin playing, known as Expressive Technique under Byron Duckwall in NYC. At the conclusion of his time at Kutztown University, Brendan anticipates entering a Masters Program to further his studies in music.
